Amazing! Brings back a lot of memories for me racing in the late 80's/early 90's. It was sooo popular in the UK then, hence all the abandoned race tracks hidden away now.

I paid £300 for the frame and shock, seatpost and headset. Then paid £30 to have the rank gold/brown paint removed google 2008 kona bass and you'll see what i mean!)

Ha Ha, I was 4th out of all categories, 35-40 riders overall. I was only a couple 10th's of a second off third! Only for a laugh though, good atmosphere at these races. I am riding a lot these days so definately give me a holla. We'll have to go SW Extreme or something! Nice one mate.

Thanks pal. It's a weird angle, not sure how i got the bike layed down do much as its only a big hump at the end of the course acting as the finish line. Pleased the photographer got it though!

Half of that was down to the bits mine came with (those tyres weigh almost as my tubeless complete wheels! Oh and the wheels on there are 48spoke!) If build right it could be sweet. I reckon 26's would be best for it though, unless you have the 24'' version.

It was gash, weighed a ton (frame especially) and rode heavy. Was ok, but not the best. I much prefere my dmr.

Orange! Raw is too overdone, and even with a clear coat it will rust like a bitch if it chips. Gonna look sick

That is the trailstar dude, just had a revamp! I thought the frame was cracked at the H/T but it was just the shitty black paint cracking, i buzzed the black off the H/T to have a looks and couldnt stop...I ended up with a raw frame within an hour!

To be honest mate you'd never find it. Its on some private land near Plympton/Lee moor.
Its kept pretty quiet to keep the landowner happy. That ladder/kicker only took 45mins to make, you should get the saw and nails out! Easily the fastest way to build jumps. |

Ha Ha, nah the rotec was anondized orange, this was frame halfords! Warehouse orange enamel aparently...took two cans, nice and thick coat of paint!

Yeah, DMR loved it...Pretty sure the ladder drops killed it though, looks like there's cracks around my Headtube/downtube and toptube. Taking some paint off in a min to find out for sure. Wall ride pics did come out good, one of my favorite bits of the course too!

I only found out about it on Friday. If i was you i would take a hardtail/small travel bike. The stuff there isnt that big, and is more challenging with less travel. There's an NPS 4x track there too.
